About Me
As a professional published freelance artist and creative director, I have enjoyed a long and varied career in the creative arts.
In addition to writing, poetry, and photography, I work with acrylics, watercolors, gouache, inks, mixed media, and print. When inspiration strikes, I never know how a project will unfold: it may be whimsical, detailed, dark, beautiful, not-so-beautiful, or very occasionally, a touch more realistic.
Extensive travel during my childhood gifted me with a strong sense of color and a need for visual rhythm, influencing my every thought. I hunt for inspiration like a miner searching for gold, or a river seeking the sea, never wanting my well of creativity to run dry. Inspiration can be found everywhere if one remains flexible, and open to it.
The creative process is electric and sustains me with energy, I cannot let it go, no matter how hard I try.
